I was at an anniversary party with my wife and daughter. We decided to see how many balloons it would take to suspend her little stuffed dog. We got all the kids (and some adults) involved collecting balloons for us. It took 68 balloons to make the dog neutrally buoyant. According to my top gear maths that's 220 balloons for one pound of force.
